G.T. Block Challenger (Japanese: G T ブロック チャレンジャー Hepburn: Ji ti burokku charenja) is an arcade game developed by Sun Electronics Corporation for Gifu TOKKI in 1978.

The game is a clone of the block breaking game Breakout.

It was released only one month after G.T. Block Perfect.

History

Not much is known about the development of these early games. According to current Director of SUNSOFT, Shigeki Shimizu, former presidents of SUNSOFT, Kiharu Yoshida and Shouji Suzuki together with a third staff member was the three people that developed Sun Electronics Corporation's early arcade games. Whether or not this includes G.T. Block Challenger has not been confirmed but is possible.

The only known picture of the game is from a flyer. This shows a monochrome green game screenshot and cocktail model cabinet.
